SWFA Without Sunshade

Does SWFA offer scope without extra length of sunshade?

No they don't , they are permanently attached is the story I am told by SWFA owner Chris .

Thanks. I know the shade has function but it makes an otherwise somewhat compact scope too long for my interest. I had a fixed 10 but got rid of it. Those fixed 6's caught my interest but the sun shade spoils it for me.

What are you looking for? I thought the SWFA was a fairly compact package. Remember they are intended for powderburners, so they have to span a bolt action rifle action. Mine are in 20x and unusable with 2 extra sunshades, so they end up pretty long in use.

I prefer AO scopes for air rifles and rimfire that are 12” or less and weigh under 16 ounces. I have Burris; Weaver, and Leupold that ft those dimensions with AO.
