SWFA scopes.

Ok so after no lie 40 hours of research I have found out the best air gun scope is SWFA in my opinion. I don’t know which one to go with. I am looking at the fixed power scopes and I want it for target shooting the targets in my yard are at 25-100 yards I want to be able to shoot at 100 yards at a good size target at 25 And 50 I use the NRA official competition targets. If you have any recommendations please tell me.

I think the 12x SWFA is great as you can easily shoot small targets at 100 yards but it isn't too much mag for close range either. I think the 16x would just be too much for shooting at say 10 or 25 yards. If you want a side focus fixed power than you're stuck with the 10x but I would save the $100 and get any of the rear focus models it's fine really. I actually came to like the rear focus and missed it when I switched to a Leupold.

A fixed 16 power would be fine as long as you are just target shooting. If you plan on hunting small game, get a variable. I shoot hunter field target, although not very well, and we shoot on 16 power and shoot targets from 10 yards to 55 yards and it works quite well. If you are shooting at 100 yards, you need some power if you want to see pellet holes in paper, and you need good glass. The SWFA scopes have good glass I hear.

10 x is good if just sitting on a bench you can go with 12 to 20 , but it is very hard to aquire target close up with 16x or 20 x quickly

I actually own every model they sell except the 1x4 , I like all models except 1 .and it is the newest one that one is not a good scope and it does not hold zero .it has a one inch tube dont get that model , but all the straight one are great a is the 1x5 and the 3x15 , and even the 3x9 hd is great scope .very precise , cant find better turrets for a scope under 1000 anywhere I have yet to find a better built scope for sub $1000

I got the Black Friday deal for the fixed 10 power. Wow, it’s my favorite scope now. I have it on a zbroia and it’s awesome. I’ve taken a squirrel up close at 15 yds and a small jay at 52 yds. I was pretty scared at first, hell i even had a guy tell me how dumb I was to buy a fixed power and he wanted to sell me a overpriced UTG. So glad I got the 10 power. I hunt and shoot for groups, so I didn’t need too much power. I settled on a 10 power because like someone else said, I usually leave my other variable at around 10 power( goes to 12 power, but 10 is better clarity on my vortex). Matt Dauber from airguns sa has a fixed 12 power on a streamline and he loves it, that guy is an expert. So yeah, I really like swfa also.

I have a fixed 10x with side focus. Great scope and I wouldn't hesitate to pick up another one with the rear or side focus. I recently recieved a new SWFA 3-15 FFP but I'm still waiting on purchasing a new airgun to mount it on. So far, I like it although I need to mount it on something so it's steady to look through and give it my full evaluation.
