Right now my Vulcan 3 is shooting 65.5 grain slugs at 915 FPS / 121 ft lbs.... Can't wait to get this new regulator in and see what she'll push them out at!!

My v3 hp .30 does 970 with 62.5 gn avs with factory settings i have corbin press set up on the way. My barrel measures .3055 so hopefully better fitting slugs are more efficient.

That's exactly my barrel size, .3055. I have a slug press which I had made in .3063 (ordered before I slugged barrel because everything I read said .3063) so I got a sizer from NOE, ordered in .305 but is actually .3047 but it's shooting MOA or less at 100yards so I'm happy. Maybe I'll have NOE make one in .3055 but in no hurry

Lol funny but not funny I almost did the same thing but decided i would wait till i had vulcan in hand and barrel slugged first. Crappy part is corbin stuff been on order since last December

be careful, with the inside of the breathing holes in the tube. in mine were some drill burrs, that broke the o-rings ,when i got the regulator out just once and now i am waiting for spares since way to long. first i had ordered the new ones based on the AGT manual specs, which are of course for the smaller regulator. =(

So I got it shooting pretty tight spreads on the Chrono now I just got it take it out to the range and see how it groups
at this setting. I could have got a little bit more speed but the spreads opened up a little bit so I backed it off a tad.
There's the size difference between the two regulators.
Stupid me I didn't double check the operating pressure on the new reg, they said it came set at 200 bar but one of these days I'll check it

That some serious speed with those slugs! Definitely 35 cal power but with better BC. Nice work with your tune also. Hope it groups MOA for you over your point of impact variability. Very much looking forward to seeing your journey on this build.

Just a quick sight in at 100 yards. Shot three rounds to see impact & jerked the third but impacts were high so went down two clicks. Two in the bullseye and jerked the third again. At least I'm consistently screwing up every three shots :-/ but I'm not consistent in how I pull it, one was high and one was low.
Gotta remedy that.
The circles are 3/4" so without the two I pulled the Vulcan seems to like shooting these 65.6 grain slugs at 990 FPS. This weekend of more time see if I can get some decent and consistent groups at 100 yards... And work on trigger control, does kick a little bit more at 200 bar and heavier grain slug

It's been acting up.
I wrote a detailed thread about it. People had nice ideas to throw in but none of them made any difference so far.
So where did you get the 200bar reg from?
