Swaging barrel?

new guy question,

In the air gun world do any of you swage ( also called slugging) your barrel to find size for correct pellet/slug size?

Also used with lapping compound at times in centerfire land.

This is the first time I've seen the phrase "swage your barrel." I don't think that is a phrase used by many, if any airguners on AGN. "Sluging" your barrel is a pretty common phrase that many will understand if they hear or read it.
