Hi all, 

While I'm not new to airguns, I am new to SW Ohio, around Dayton to be precise. Anyone know of airgun clubs down here? I saw in another similar post that there's a facebook group but OH airgunners, but I don't do facebook. 
I'm mostly into recreational shooting, and hunting. Anything competitive isn't in my nature. This is also my first post to the forum,.

Hey there fellow enthusiast, I am right outside of Troy, right up I-75 from you.



Around us there are-

Central Ohio Airgunners right outside of Columbus

Fairfield Sportsmans Association Airgun club outside of Cincinnati

Wyandot County Airgunners in Nevada Ohio

Northeast Ohio Airgunners outside of Cleveland



IF you need HPA fills, you can get a tank filled to 4500 PSI in Huber Heights at I-70 Paintball. The owner is super cool and always ready to help a guy out.



Do not be put off by the competition aspect of the club shoots, everybody is pretty laid back, friendly, and into meeting, greeting, and jabbering. It's not like some overblown professional affair, it's a bit more laid back than that. 

There is a 100 yard Bench rest match coming up in August in Cincinnati that will probably draw a crowd. The last match in Columbus drew in a bunch of guys from as far away as Pennsylvania.



Check the websites of the club's that I mentioned for schedule dates, and check the Baker Airguns site for dates as well. The guys from Baker Airguns shoot as well, and their blog and events pages usually keep track of shoots coming up.

I am planning on attending all of the bench rest shoots, so if you want to come out, you will know at least one guy!

The 100 yard Bench rest match is going to be at the Fairfield Sportsmans Association outside of Cincinnati.

There are 50 yard matches at Central Ohio Airgunners outside of Columbus, and 25 yard matches in the cold months up around Steubenville at Sherwood Airgunners range. i also think that there are going to be bench matches in Chagrin Falls hosted by the Northeast Ohio Airgunners.

Most all of the club's are also hosting field target matches throughout the year. Check out their various websites, and the Baker Airguns blog and news page for schedules.



Troy is a nice spot dogfood but I live outside town in a township. The ordinances in town can be a bit of a pain, but out here the only ordinance is 'do not shoot the neighbors house'.

I forgot about the Wyandot County Airgun club shoots. They shoot field target and I think that they may be planning on bench matches as well, but am unsure on that.
