I saw the review of the SVBONY SV173 4-16 Rifle Scope and decided that looked like to perfect scope for my upcoming Air Venturi Avenger. Sites on AMAZON.com showed out of stock, but I did manage to find one on AMAZON.ca. Upon receipt the scope is everything it is advertised to be and even better than I expected. I did however have one question that I could not find an answer to in either the included manual of the one I downloaded off of their web site so sent a note to them. I also asked why their website no longer showed rifle scopes The response came back within Eight hours (Excellent) with the answer to my question but it also included the following statement "Yes, the official website of svbony was also selling Rifle Scope before. Since the warehouse of the official website of svbony is in Shenzhen, China, the Chinese market has been restricted by policies in the last two years, and we are prohibited from exporting these sensitive products."
Apparently the Chinese Govt. feels threatened by non Chinese folks buying rifle scopes.
