Ok, got the Donny FL Koi in, so I used both my sound meter and my phone, set the sound meter to fast to mimic the iPhone, they were within 1db, close enough. Running 16 grain pellets (22) 930 fps, 129.3 on the 2nd reg, 3 on the dial, The Impulse registered 113/114 with 6 pieces, the Koi was 103/104. I started playing around with 18 grains at 945fps, dial at 7 that was when it got interesting both mods were exactly the same at about 108/112ish The Koi MAY have had a slightly softer or less sharp sound. That could be the result of the wire mesh on the inside, not taking it out to find out. Had to quit it's nippy here 51º. Not Chiraq cold but cold for this old guy. So assuming that they are basically equal, I'll see which effect the accuracy the most or the least as the case may be. My 16gr. and the 18gr were basically all over the map for some reason for POI so I'll have to see if it's the mod or the barrel. I was having some issues with pellets getting jammed the other day so that may have been an issue as I had to pull the barrel off. Plus the 16gr pellets had a lot of bent skirts. I'll toss on the printed mod on later.

Hogkiller, Why don't you have a custom adapter made that will extend the Sumo out far enough to where you can still use your original tank? Donny FL might make something for you or he used to have a name and phone number on his website for someone that did custom work. Not sure if he is still listed there or not but that is another option you have to get it quiet.

I might consider that, frankly it's on my .25 and it's a tack driver, I really don't want to touch anything on it. The Koi came in today and fits with a bit of clearance.
