Sunday Gunday

Hey y'all,

I'm sort of clearing out my closet or at least I'll try to say goodbye to some of my airguns that are not on the picture. Just found and fixed up this old gun rack with four spots and it helped me to pick my top four favourites (yes, I am a visual person)

I'm curious to see your "top airguns", that 3, 4 or 5 keeper you would hang onto for life. If your imaginary rack or cabinet has more spots that's okay too ;)

I started airgunning several years ago with a .25 Benjamin Marauder and then upgraded to an FX Wildcat Compact MKII. The largest carbon fiber tank that the local paintball shop would fill was a Guppy. I had a hand pump which wasn’t a big deal but it wasn’t dry air and neither was the paintball shop.

At the time I wasn’t interested in a compressor as most of my shooting was gun powder pistol and rifle. I used the air rifle for squirrel hunting because it was quiet.

So I sold off the air guns and was out of it till last January when I swore off powder burners because of how the industry was raping all its loyal customer base. Sold all but a basic set of rifles and pistols for hunting and defense/plinking for $8K in 45 minutes at fair prices. Then I bought an FX Impact in .22 and a FX Crown Continuum in .22 and a Feinwerkbau .177 Picollo pistol. I’ve also bought three other high end air rifles but sold them and have an FX Wildcat Sniper in .22 on order.

I’m an impulsive buyer unfortunately and not a collector so I end up selling at a loss but I learn a lot owning different guns so I live with the experience. I think my 3 FX’s will be permanent, but I’ve said that before.
