N/A Suggestions on first PCP, small game hunting, and having fun.

There were many excellent recommendations on the rifle, but I have a K1 on the way. I'm impressed with the GK1 so far and greatly enjoying it. Also, I have two GX pump separators on order, but they have yet to ship after almost a week. I will post some pictures when everything arrives.
Huben are well made guns. Good choice I've had some of the ones that were on your list and wouldn't recommend them for a truck gun because poi changes was common problem. I don't abuse them but they had issues even sitting on seat in feed truck. My new GK1 25 carbine is great. Just have to find what platform works best for you.

I know the AEA HP series has a bad rap. I own 4 and I have had good luck with them. My favorite compact SA is the AEA HP SS in 22 cal. Shooting 28 ftlb and accuracy good enough to hit golf balls at 50 yds. This is a true light weight carbine. It has become my favorite dog walking gun. Picture below is the SS. As it sets the total weight on this gun is 6.1 lbs.

I have not had POA changes in these rifles. I have had low first couple shots after filling. For the most part that is cured with a PEEK poppet. Trigger on this gun is a steady 3lb. I use SA Swede mags and my rifles shoot reliably. It would be my truck gun but I have a 25 cal SS+ for that detail. Again, equipt with SE Swede. mags.

I had family this Sunday, and everyone loved the Gk1, mom enjoyed it. It was everyone's first PCP experience, and everyone shot well.
Most everyone was surprised at the power and accuracy. I have been waiting for the weather to clear since early Monday.
I grabbed my hogster, a decent scope, but I have never tried shooting anything as small as field rats. It will be interesting to see how it does on the K1. I prefer to keep the Thor sited in, but I may switch to that one. I was curious to see how well I could do with EOTech.

Love to hear about your family members enjoying the airguns and that makes it all worth the expense.
