Suggestions On An LDC or Sights On A Sig P226

This looks like it going to be too wide to see the iron sights. And this layout here on the phone is still 3/8 of an inch smaller than the actual 4.3" measurement of the actual. 

It now can take a standard airgun 1/2" UNF female thread. Any recommendations on a narrower LDC? 

Is there a way I can expoy a plate so it can take a retical, since the slide does not come off easily? 

Or, should I just buy the one from PA and stuff it with some guts? That I really dont know what I'm doing?
