Shot this guy off the roof of my wifes jeep! 18-20 yards. Ive had it with these rats chewing up everything and he wasnt gettin away!! Was it a stupid shot? Absolutely lol. He was sitting up, so it atleast gave me a couple inches of clearence

If IĀ wasĀ confident in the accuracy of the gun and myĀ shooting skills and if the jeep wasnāt like brand new, I wouldāve probably did the same thing.

I donāt think that was especially risky. Now had it been the neighbors with whom you are not on good terms and had you not been able to retrieve the rat then weād be talkin Oh and the Jeep was parked in front of their picture window at say 75 yards. And it wouldnāt be a Jeep. How bout a new Mercedes . Now that would be risky.
All kidding aside. Iāve been doing this long enough that I donāt trust myself. Too many things can happen. Scope gets bumped for one. My luck Iād put one thru the roof out the closed passenger window and hit her cat. I donāt play the lottery eitherĀ

I know a couple that adored chipmunks until they chewed the wires in two of their cars and got a $7000 bill! Airguns are cheap compared to that. And what you can most definitely trust is that they won't stop. It would be stupid to assume they won't do it again. Take the shot given.

Nice shot and worth it in my opinion. We have two car engine compartments with evidence of rodent chewing and I am a HAPPY to kill all rodents.

The desert rats here just destroy everything. Theyll strip all your citrus trees, palm trees, car wiring, everything. My wife hates the rattlesnakes but at this point i think id leave the rattlesnakes alone just so they eat all the rats!

Nice shooting! We have black rat snakes for the rats here (MO) I don't mind them but I don't do poisonous snakes.Ā

I used to have a big black snake that hung around my house and although he scared the hell out of me especially when he was laying on my doormat goingĀ into my house when I open the kitchen door and there he was. IĀ used to see him all the time in the summer. I even seen him up at my aunts place before.And then we had some new neighbors moving a couple houses up and his wife was flipping out over a snake in their yard and I think they shot it. Her husband said it was a black snake.Their garage is infested with mice ( I know that because that place used to belong to me until I sold it to a friend and he rented it out)Ā and I told her she shouldāve left it alone because it wasnāt gonna hurt her.
