I don’t usually gush over a product, but when I find something that works perfectly I try to spread the news. I had seen an article about the Stud Mag Loader (I think it was in Hard Air Magazine) and having just filled a .177 Dreamline magazine anything that could save me time from that miserable task looked like a plus. I checked out their video and decided to try it. I just received my order today, took them downstairs to try loading some pellets and to see how they work. I tried the .177, .22 and .25 caliber feeders and loaders with the respective Crown/Dreamline/Wildcat magazines.
They were absolutely perfect!
I have tried many other “speed” loaders for these magazines. All worked to some fashion and degree, but they all had major shortcomings, to the extent that I have not stuck with any of them. Most of them required me to load the loader! That task was just as difficult as loading the mag directly, so why bother.
The Stud Mags, on the other hand, worked every time, in all three calibers and in multiple magazines. The Feeder is an absolute game changer. You simply pour in the pellets, shake the feeder and they fall into place, every time, at least for me. I’m so happy with them I’m about to go and buy some more for my Impact magazines in .22 and .25. I find the .30 pellets are so large that they are easy to load by hand, so i haven’t purchased those..
To be clear, I have no relation ship with the product or the manufacturer. It just worked for me and I wanted to pass it on.
