STUD High Capacity 40 round Magazine for FX

I just wonder how long before someone shares an stl file for it (or almost identical) and people start printing them for $1

$120 for a 3d printed part - NO

When a person sells their design at a reasonable price I buy one of theirs and then make copies for my own use. If I wanted something like this I wouldn't feel bad about skipping the first step.

That's a pretty cool attitude.

I suppose that one could also carry it over to: "I think that manufacturers charge too much for airguns. Therefore it would be O.K. and justified for me to go into your house and steal your airguns."

Hey Debbie downer, you may want to have a seat and watch yourself on the show Extreme Cheapskates, you seem to find joy in being negative and taking the opposite of the flow of any forum discussions....... go away you pest

Even if it was patented making copies for your own use is perfectly legal after you purchase one, so yes I can copy an airgun for my own use if I own an example.

Well, I have my Stud Hi Cap Mag, which I obtained both legally and ethically.

And you have... Well I guess that you have an idea how you could get something potentially similar, at a potentially lower cost, while circumventing ethics.

I can go out, shoot and enjoy my mag today. Tell us how your idea shoots this afternoon. Or next week. Or 6 months from now.

Ethics will have different values to different individuals. I guess maybe I just value mine more highly than you do yours.

You have no clue. I'll continue to think for myself while you cry about it.

Try thinking how someone else besides yourself that took 1000 hours of RD to design the STUD, something you would never do, your to busy being a critic

Jesus, is there a ignore button here for twits like this?

I believe you totally missed the point but I'll stop dragging this thread off topic.

Edit: Err ma gerd... all the 1000s of hours of R&D stolen. This design has been around for at least 40 years. Scaling it and making it on a 3d printer is not novel, it's just a matter of entering dimensions into software. Everyone copies other peoples designs. There is no patent because it can not be patented.

I see both sides. Heck, think back on a lot of mag designs and you will see copies. Take it another step and you’ll see it in probes and transfer ports, too. Power plenums? Yes on that, also

im kicking myself in the a$$ as a year ago I came up with the idea of a shooters maintenance mat catered to pcp’s, with the parts drawn into the mat like the powder burners have have AR’s and Glock pistols. I went as far as requesting on the forum if anyone would be interested because it was a big investment to get a print shop to make them. No one else had that idea, till yesterday I see an email from Edgun West saying they now have mats available that show parts breakdown along with part numbers, o ring sizes, etc.

My fault for not pursuing that more aggressively. I recall a member asking me if I would have some made for Edgun’s, too.

Patting yourself on the back and kicking yourself in the ass at the same time or just boasting in one thread, wow

Nope, neither of that my style, but you are making it very obvious you’re one looking to scrap. by all your aggressive “come at ya” comments. I’m in the same state, fella. We can meet to discuss.

or, I’ll wait it out. Seen your type many a times. Forum Cancer Stick types. You won’t last long here on AGN.

@ BFLOYD- I apologize for derailing your thread on these high capacity mags. Wasn’t my intent, just got caught up in the “he said she said” thing if you know what I mean.
