STUD High Capacity 40 round Magazine for FX

I grabbed one of these up for my wife's Custom Dream Tac .

I am a Huge Fan of these guy's work , i have the speed load set up for my Impact , Greatest invention since the wheel IMHO.

Anyway to this 40 rd mag. So far functions flawlessly , Very well designed, simple to load , and honestly doesn't look that bad....

One thing i did find, i had to change scope mount , previous was mounted over the mag well and would Not allow the new mag to seat all the way ... No Big Deal just letting you guys know once seated it is right up against the picatinny top rail.

Hope this helps any of on the fence, will keep you posted as i spend more time with it..

Thanks again to Stud Man !

I would really like to try one of these, but I just can’t get past it looking like a chainsaw bar. How long did it take you to get it from the manufacturer?

It took 4 days , NY to Texas delivery

The looks are Quickly overlooked as you start realizing how nice it is having 40 shots at a time..

As the owner of the company said, he didn't make these to bounced around out in the field , they designed for the bench and target shooters...

It is not something that will win a design award here in minimalist design Denmark.

But even the big magazine for the impacts i think is horrible to look at, on a gun that in itself are also not terrible pleasing in its design even if you just look at the weapon type in all caliber and propellant categories.

I did not order the Maverick as it is better looking than the impact, it is the same train wreck IMO, but i figured i would like to try a bullpup and i went with that model.

BUT ! The big MAG's are probably fine when seated at the bench, i am over the top getting a 22 shot mag VS the 8 i have been used to with my old Cyclone.

I just wonder how long before someone shares an stl file for it (or almost identical) and people start printing them for $1

$120 for a 3d printed part - NO

When a person sells their design at a reasonable price I buy one of theirs and then make copies for my own use. If I wanted something like this I wouldn't feel bad about skipping the first step.
