But this had given me time to work on projects I've been wanting to do. I've seen several post about what people were using as there shooting box. Here are several pictures of the box I put together. I took apart this box to take pictures but I forgot how much I struggled putting the metal plate in to the box. The metal plate is 1/8 inch steel and should stop a .22 long round or a .17 HMR. I've been wanting to try out this box with my .17 HMR
I originally had stuffed the box with old blankets and pieces of 2x4 wood and plywood but as you can see, the pellets made their way through the box.
