Stripping squirrel vs. BSA R10 FT

I was getting loaded up to go to the range and make a new range card. This fella had been seen stripping bark off one of my Japanese maples a few months back. This time he was sitting on a split rail fence post eyeballing me.

Ranged him with the scope wheel at 41 yards. Took the shot standing in the door way braced against the jamb. Pellet hit him in the shoulder, he fell to the ground, looked up and fell over.
He’s got that look that kinda reminds me of the Gamo FT face plate.

What’s interesting is, I have the reds in the back of the house and the grays in the front. I’ve got a gray that’s a nuisance and he’s smart.. He stays close to the house where I don’t dare risk a pass-through shot. The reds think their safe if the stay along the property line in the back which is 50 yards deep.
Little do they know that’s a 1-1/4 mildot holdover.
