After testing out my impact that just got back from Ken having the power plennum istalled about two weeks ago. What a Powerhouse I can shoot MOA basically 80% of time cuz 20% of time I SHAKE. my problem is that my strelok is never right I'm shooting 917 FPS , 33.95 Mark II , reg 105, max on wheel and it tells me at a hundred yards I should be shooting 4.6 when indeed I'm shooting 3.6. today I went to my first semi professional self authorized 😎 long-range shoot at 160 yards. strelok told me I should be shooting at 9.4 I'm actually shooting at 7 so using strelok I shot six rounds before I can find the paper after that I sighted in with one miss and I hit a 2in group with basically 19 shots so what am I not doing right with strelok.

Strelock I'd pellet into from selection chart. 

On line temp , humidity update through strelock.

Usually @ 100+ I'm dialing.

I'll try some hold over today.

Also windage input for example, let's say 6mph @ 2 o'clock will put x on left si. Opposite where it should be,

There's something I'm doing wrong

I'm going to get cricket put today. Basically the same specs but with MOA.

Bill, on my Impact with FX no limit rings my scope height is 3.10 the best I can measure just for reference. I plugged in everything you have and I come up with 8.5Mrad at 160 or 85 clicks or 49". On the issue with the windage the new reticle position will be on the left so that when you put that new reticle on your target you will be moving the muzzle to the right to do that which will in turn put the POI to the right counteracting the wind. You could also go into the Trajectory validation (Truing) and try correcting the BC there and see how that works out for the other yardages. You can use your 50yrd zero and then shoot it at 160 and input those actual clicks needed and not what strelok calculates originally. It'll ask if you want to us this new BC, acknowledge this. That should give you the best dial in and hold over values.

Dang you Keyman, now you have me second guessing my theory on the windage and the purpose of the yellow dot. With a 90 degree wind which would push the pellet to the left the different values to correct it make sense, MOA/Mrad/Inches and clicks. However like your saying the yellow spot is on the opposite side. I believe all that it is indicating is just the POI which would make sense. Sorry if I confused..

In the beginning I was unsure and confused about how to interpret Strelok's reticle screen and the way it displays wind settings.... 🙄

Where did you get the 17 bbl twist rate?

I could not find the twist rate for my DS Safari. Dealer contacted DS and they stated 1:28. I had run a flagged cleaning rod though the bbl and got ~1:30. Since I am new to air guns but had some experience with center fire rifles with 7,8,9 twist rates, I really questioned the 1:30 rate. After my dealer reported the factory 1:28 rate, I plugged that rate into the StrelokPro. Already had 50, 75 and 100yard scope settings. Tests at the range showed that the StrelokPro was right on. Got the cricket out. It's set MOA. Within a couple clicks. To many fliers @ 960. Lowered to 917. 12 shots max3.5. Sd 1,5. 9 of 12 in 2" @160.

Now I'm going to move target in to reasonable distance until I decide about this slug thing.

It might be best to move some numbers around in the Strelok app before screwing with moving target's. I shoot it long range and the BC number matters most there, and the scope height matters more when showing close.

To get the long range down well, just adjust the BC number until the chart matches the holdover the projectile is hitting at. Add maybe a half a point of BC at a time until the chart says what MOIL holdover should be at 165 yards, going smaller until it is perfect. Do some closer shooting just holding over with the reticle to verify. 

Then, do some real close shooting, again using the reticle, to hold under and fine tune the scope height number in the same way.
