I've got a streamline on the way form Arizona and just want to know if anyone that has one has any input on setup, how they like, good pellets, scope etc. I own a Fx wildcat and love it but I'm setting this up for a good friend so I want to do it rite.
I love mine, though I haven't had as much time to shoot it as I'd like. I got a Sumo LDC from Donny, works extremely well.
I also use the FX No Limits rings (transplanted from my old T12 Whisper) and have a Hawke 3-9 scope on there.
I love that it's so small and light, especially compared to my previous T12. If I weren't moving the old scope over I might have tried a smaller scope, I think it would go better with the size of the rifle.
A red dot might be really cool on there since it wouldn't need to be so high over the magazine, if it suits your shooting style/distance.
I am also interested in trying a scout scope on it (long eye relief). This _might_ let you put the scope in front of the magazine and mount it nice and low. I don't know if the rings will fit. I have a 2.5X scout scope I may try to put on there for S&G.
You could for sure get one on there with an adapter like this:
The choice of pellets and scope will depend on use. What caliber and what will it be used for? Target only - what range? Hunting only - what species, what range? You may or may not want a rail to accept a bipod again depending on what the gun will be used for.
