Strange Umarex Problem

Greetings. I have a strange problem with a Umarex Surge XT. Sometimes as I close the action the rifle will fire. I’m not finding anything on the web so I thought I would check here. It doesn’t happen every time. Sometimes as I open the action, it will unlatch and slam closed. It seems likely that these are related. 

Anyone experience this before or have any guidance on troubleshooting?

Not the same gun but my friends springer does this if the gun is pointed upwards while closing the action and scares the crud out of me and is dangerous. The reason his does this is because his trigger is adjusted so light that just the weight of the trigger falling makes it fire. So check your trigger. If you adjusted it you will have to make it heavier. Try closing the action while the gun is perfectly horizontal and if it still does it then you need to get it checked before someone gets hurt.good luck
