...stopping power for sparrow...

...the .25 is not magic on grey squirrels but it seems adequate for sparrows...

...the .25 Escape is my only functional rifle now...

...I have a FAC CZ 200 in .22 that I always liked best but it broke...that would make a better sparrow gun...

...I was going to send it to Pyramid for repair but got......distracted...

..this in .20 with the moderator upgrade would be my idea of an Ideal back yard sparrow gun...

NO! The .25 is for grasshoppers. Shot placement is not an issue but headshots count for extra points. :p Been shooting them for 2 months now. We have had a plague. They have eaten everything from ground level to the tops of my 23 pecan trees which look now as if we already had a freeze. The grasshoppers make a very nice mist cloud when hit by a JSB 34 grain at 50 yards. They really should NOT sit on my steel target plates! ;)

Use the largest caliber you can afford. 2 to the chest and 1 to the head. Approach with caution and smack it with a cast iron frying pan. Then immediately toss it into a fire while wearing a kevlar vest and chain mail gloves. These are sparrows and you can't be too carefull. The last thing you want is a wounded sparrow. Ain't nothin more dangerous than a wounded sparrow. 'Cept maybe a grasshopper.

That CZ AA S200s problem is probably the valve at the end of the removable air tube needs some good hard whacking like against your couch like you want to kill it.

If that doesn't work it's nearly impossible to unscrew that valve (to rebuild) from that air tube even with a vise it's that tightly screwed in maybe even red lock tited on the threads. A real MUTHA BITCH that one!

You can just order a replacement air cylinder from PA for $149.99 and use the 10% discount code and add that striking pin just in case $9.99 and spring and air cylinder o-ring. Probably right at $150 for free shipping.

Further instructions for a save your cash by fixing it yourself can be volunteered if needed if whacking that air tube doesn't fix it.

...I was hoping for an easy fix but I don't think that's it...

...it is something in the lock work...the trigger broke...I have a Daisy Avanti as well which is a CZ 200...that one still works but is apart for a cleaning...

...that tank has an air gauge at the end instead of that quick fill device...I charged the tanks with a brass adapter directly from a tank...

...that death etiquette thread reminds me of the tanks for it I lost when a old friend died...I was lucky to get the rifle back...

...I could never find more tanks with a gauge…

...I would like to fix the CZ 200 instead of buying something else...I would just be trying to buy another CZ 200...

...in the mean time sparrows will die...

I repaired my CZ200. Had to replace the o rings in the tank. I ordered two split shaft or set collars and then used a pipe wrench on the collars.. no scratches and came right off. Getting the oring out of the pocket was a bitc$..had to make a tool to dig it out and not scratch the pocket..

My trigger went out and I sent it back to somewhere ( forgot where) anyway he fixed it.. But you should be able to repair the trigger.. shouldn't be that hard..

I love poping sparrows.. Nothing I hate worse than those birds.. I use a 177 most of the time asto not make sure impact noise.. But oh the sound from a 22 is so satisfying..

Sounds like you need some guinea fowl or chickens. They cut our big population down dramatically on our acerage. The best organic pest control that makes good bbq. 😁
