Went to the dairy for 1-1/2 hours, five minutes in one pigeon kill at 64 yards. Then the first rat at 25 yard. It was facing me at an angle. The shot traversed his body from front to back. Two more pigeon kills at 54 yards and then the second rat at 28 yards in the dark using my red light, headshot. The dog took the first rat as tribute. I took the Tanto off the Bantam as it is quiet without and shortens the gun by five inches. I don’t police up the birds as the hawks and crows take care of that.

The rats are only slightly smaller than the rifle.

LOL. Love it!! Maybe the dog will develop a taste for them and catch a few rats. Sounds like a productive period. Always a pleasure to see you work with your Bantam Sniper.

Looks like a Blue Heeler. 54 yards on pigeon is a satisfying shot I reckon and a rat 28yards in the dark too.

Excellent that crow and hawk take the garbage out, wish I could do that but instead I walk around with a five-gallon bucket and rubber gloves.

I'm a big fan of collecting anything you shot lead into.... for a simple reason that lead poisoning affects the whole upward food chain. dogs included.

I agree, but wasn’t going to try and regain said rat. Also at that range that JSB was definitely a pass through.
