Stock pads/extensions for long arms?

So I have definitely long arms, longish neck, and I'm shouldering my Avenger and feeling myself kind of cramped. Both feeling like my wrist has to torque too much to hold the pistol grip section and like I have to lean sideways to the right to get a good sight picture. Of course that will make it pretty hard not to cant.

Anyone got any suggestions on what I can add on/replace so I can make my stock perhaps longer or at least the right height so I can get my gawky self in easy alignment with my scope?

The comb riser kit is from "Beartooth Products" and I found them at "Midway USA". It uses the neoprene sock to slip over the stock and has various thickness pieces of foam that fit under it to raise comb height. I also used some plumbers epoxy putty to fashion a crude but effective change in the grip angle. Not pretty but we are only working with $300 rifles, right? Rabbits and birds and tree rats never get the chance to look at them up close anyway!

Is it more of an issue with the handgrip or the length of pull?

Both. The hand grip makes me feel like I am having to torque my wrist, and the stock makes me feel that it's difficult to get a good sight picture without tilting my head too much. I think a longer stock would let me stretch out more and make things fall more naturally in line.

I have had good luck with "Limbsaver" brand slip on butt pads. They have some that are 1 inch thick and worked for me,being 6'2", on both a Discovery and a Fortitude. Even Walmart carries them in most stores and that extra inch in length helps with trigger and stock comfort when shooting.

Thanks for the suggestions, Bruce! I'm going to look up Limbsaver today. We're about the same height, so if it worked for you, it will probably work for me.
