You are right though; I read the rules again and again, nothing about days🤔
But I joined for knowledge and to gain a better understanding of my hobby.🤷‍♂😁
Stick around and look at other posts and whatnot; lots of great info available on almost everything you might encounter🤙

Yeah no worries .. been sorting and sifting pretty hard. Hence the reason I made those threads about Semi autos and such. To help out as more come into production. There are not enough that makes it easy to sort when looking for them.

Just when there are lots of "newbs" here with the same question/issue then either something that is supposed to work is broken, or it's not explained that it's just that way.

If that's the way it is then it's easy to state and if it's broken then it needs fixed. That's all.

Well that's for you to choose to do business with me or not. I can't force ya to take my money or to like me. Not worried either way.

Some folks are impatient, and some like to KNOW a rule that keeps getting said there is one even though there isn't.

Others people ASK for clarification. And when others state "chill out, relax, learn" well asking is the forefather of learning.

There is also this thing called "lurking". Are you familiar? You see it's possible for someone to come to this site, and read posts... For a year.. a month, 5 years whatever. And read and gleam and sort and understand.... And know the rule about 10 posts with sustenance.

And then they finally decide to join up and say.. hi... My name is Joe bob... I'm glad to finally post up and notice Frank has a rifle I would like to buy for sale.

I've made my posts but still can't seem to get in touch... Is something broken?

And when the answer is.. sit down, shut up, you're a jerk, and I won't do business with you!!!

It doesn't really make this place shine too much.

There's a difference in ARGUING as you put it .. and DISCUSSING... You see?

When have I stated that "the rules" are stupid? Or shouldn't be that way? Or are unjust or not needed? I haven't!

Not everyone on this rock is the same. Some like answers.. and don't just go for the "because I said so" answer when asking a question.

And though I can't prove it... I'm pretty sure there are a number of other "newbs" that will come and go through here... See this thread and get some clarity about why they can't PM someone.

I'm not trying to make enemies,but that's not my call.

And I would rather someone know that when dealing with me the cards are on the table and there is clarity in what I ask or say and that I will put out what I know or think...

Rather than "lying by omission" or being shady, or not being clear.

Would rather be known for doing what's right than be known as a follower of "because I said so".

It's not 10 days. I'm allowed to PM and to post now and it unlocked yesterday morning I think it was.

8 days at best.

Not sure if there are s a timer of "days" after 10 posts or not.

Or if it's automated and the system does it's thing or if it's an approval by an admin? Not sure.

Anywho...

Same here .. had been lurking and looking and then join up, post, anddddds. Nothing... WTF???

I guess the moral of the story... Join, post, wait a week or so... Then go shopping.... 😜
