Still amazed by modern pcp’s

Bought my 1st pcp ten years ago as a squirrel gun. Liked that it was quiet & accurate for small critters at good ranges (BSA T-10 Scorpian in .22). But now...wow! Bought a used Cricket .25 & topped it off with a nice little Burris. This thing shoots lights out (25 grain jsb’s @ 945 fps), quiet with factory shroud, & super accurate. Just got in from shooting spinners (1 1/2”, 2”, & 2 1/2”) at 80 yards off a tripod & pounding them. Amazing weapons! Than you manufactures listening to customers and giving them what they wanted. So many great guns available now. Feel fortunate!

I am amazed also the last ten years have been good years for the PCP guns. So many changes so much innovation and so many very accurate guns out and about now.

I made my first PCP twelve or fifteen years back, out of a Crosman 2250, it still shoots fine but many of the newer guns are so much better than I can do now. Power and accuracy are at very high levels these days. Got to love the pit we throw so much money into. ;^)

The evolution of airguns, especially the last 5 years, has been nothing short of phenomenal. It ain't "your daddy's" airgun any more. 760 pump guns were the ones most everybody was familiar with when I was growing up. PCP's changed everything. When I told friends I was getting into airguns a few years back they all pictured the Crosman pumps. The ones who went shooting with me were absolutely astonished at the capabilities of today's airguns. I STILL am every time I pull mine out of the cases. It just never gets old for me.

yep, i grew up with an old 760 pumper, we shot everything through those - multiple bb's, dry cat food, one-pump bb wars lol .... but yeah the modern stuff is crazy .. i have a pyramid flier from 2014 and just since then theres so much better stuff .. prices and availability suck though, just about anything i want is backordered .. thats the new normal though .. 'the shadow of things to come' ... word is, our currency will be revalued as the world turns to the SDR,which was set up specifically to absorb the inflation we're going to experience years ago btw ... around 2024 .. what that means to us is likely a ~40% increase in cost of living more or less, hopefully not more .. so im trying to get all my toys while i can lol ...
