Steyr Hunter Scout Auto 5 - Gary Cane Custom Stock - Picture Heavy

I posted pics of the just the stock a couple of weeks ago. A few moments ago I caught the morning sun and took some pictures of the rifle. This is a Donny LDC. The rifle is .22.

This picture was backlit...no good.

If you look t through the trigger guard, 90 yards down the hill to the edge of the woods I discovered a Bald-Faced Hornet nest (the paper balls). It is about the size of a basketball. I was one mower width from it and it is 4' high when I noticed. It was alive with hornets coming and going. It will be introduced to a 20 gauge later today. I have too many grandchildren and that spot is near a trail where two of them come to my house from the top of the hill on a trail.

Close-ups on next thread.

Here's a couple more shots of left side.

I sold a couple air rifles to put the rig together, that's for sure. This one will hit the squirrel woods the 3rd Monday of this month. Season opens Saturday but my wife and daughter have "scheduled" me out of town that day. My son-in-law is headed for the war zone for 6 months, so seeing him off.

Oh, that's a 30mm "Side Shot Cameral Mount" behind the currents. Haven't used it yet but it is the only cameral scope mount system I've been able to figure out for my iPhone so far.
