New from Steyr. Steyr Hunting Automatic 5 Bullpup. Basically..if an Ataman BP-17 was Semi Auto ---you would get one of these. Can't wait.

Nate,

These Steyr H5 Auto Bullpups are about as rad as it gets!
Off the charts for my price-range I'm sure, but, very cool none the less..

The Ataman BP17: That's another really interesting little gun..
I just can't get over the 'forward-activating cocking mechanism'..
Having to push-then-pull vs. pull-then push would drive me crazy. 😜

KRALE:

I can't say enough just how impressed I am with the business and the guys there!
They are absolutely amazing in every aspect. I usually deal with Chris when I order.
I've had the same 'credit card issues' with 2 different cards..
Banks and/or providers often 'red-flag' the initial transaction as 'cc fraud prevention'.
Actually, I also had the same thing happen when using a PayPal Business Debit card..

A quick call to any of the above representatives, Approve / Authenticate,
and after that, the next order submission will always go right through.

Shipping is extremely fast and packaging is double-boxed and done very well..
Even better yet - From The Netherlands to New York USofA: Only 3-4 days!

🙂👍👍

....not paying 3Gs for that...but maybe 2.

For the H5 scout you have to buy a 16mm slip on to 1/2 UNF adapter . I got mine off eBay but Donny might have a better one. Mine definitely marked the barrel...tight, and it has a grub screw. I think I couldn't even get it on all the way. Go with donny fl

Love krale, just got my Steyr Challenge from them yesterday.

H5 LDC adapter with Anshutz LDC (same exact performance as a Huggette)

16mm is the outer barrel diameter.

New member of the family. I got it yesterday. I have an LG110 HP .22 to match this gun.

Its a Steyr Challenge .22 HP

Nate, right on man, great info!

Your new field target rifle [Challenge] is killer! I've always been a really big fan of those!
The even better thing is - They shoot even better than they look. Very impressive!
The larger grip on the cocking lever is also a really nice touch.

I chatted with Donny a while ago about different adapter options,
and slip-ons came up.. So he probably does offer something that'd work - Like you mentioned..

One thing - I use slip-on Muzzle Brakes on my bench rest 10/22 LR rifles,
and since they use expensive .920 Bull / Target barrels, I didn't want to chance marring them w/ set-screws..
I still use them - Just not bare.. I always put a dab of either silicone or hot-glue on the ends of them,
so when tightened down, they're not metal-on-metal, but instead, have a little dot of padding/protection.
That works like a charm.

🙂👍

Awesome idea on the glue or silicone. I used to sell 10/22 Bull Barrels (alot of them). I almost spent $10,000 to become a distributor for Green Mountain Barrels. I actually was building Ruger1022.com about 4 years ago..it was going to be a one stop shop for all 10/22's most awesome accessories. But then the laptop I was building it on got stolen out of my truck one night. That was the end of that.

...sorry, the mention of the phrase ".920 bull barrel" got me all excited..and I had to share. Thanks for listening! -Nate

P.S. I'm about to head out to the forest to shoot the BP-17 for the first time! If I don't fall hopelessly in love with it I will be selling it to RJ and I'm going to put the money in a jar until the H5 Bulpup comes out
