Niksan Starter PCP. Nikson, XM1, or Origin

Go with your gut on the first one.. surely it won't be a one and done.
If you really feel that you need the opinions of others, I would listen to the ones that actually have or have had the particular gun. If I were to ask for an either or, I would want to hear from someone who has or have had both.
That said, who is to say that others have the same expectations as me?

Is there anything in the price range that im over looking? Should I just get a springer?
I originally wanted a spring gun so I wouldn't have to worry with any extra cost for bottles or pumps. It seems that everytime I consider the idea of getting a PCP I realize I cant afford it and there isn't one that cost less that $1000 bucks.

What makes it better than the origin? I like the extra fps for longer shots. 50 yards is fairly close where I shoot.
Never said it was better.. I don't own an Origin. Just said it might be an option.
I do own a NOTOS and an Avenger which is much like the Origin. I like them both equally for what they are.
I put the Buck Rail Tactical kit on the Avenger and an aftermarket side lever handle on the NOTOS.
The NOTOS is a compact accurate 30 yard shooter and the Avenger is quite a bit longer that is very capable of reaching out 50 and beyond with a boatload of shots per fill..
My Avenger is .25. My NOTOS is .22. Both guns shoot my cast pellets well.
But yeah, 50 and beyond might be asking a bit much for the NOTOS. It could probably be cranked up at the cost of shot count. Several have converted it to a bottle gun which would help there.

I need to decide on a PCP. What's in my price range is the umarex origin, stoeger XM1, nikson archero. Would like to shoot starlings to ground hogs with it. Ill hand pump for now, thought about a crosman prospect although I prefer the looks of the other three.
I own a pair of Niksan Ozark, .22 and .25. I have had zero issues with either. They are well made and accurate. The adjustable transfer port is a nice thing, but i never use it.

My understanding is the Archero is the tube version of the Ozark.

I do not think you will be displeased with the Niksan.

I have to admit the Ozark-TW is a much better looking gun than the Ozark-S.
