Start insuring your USPS packages. THEY WILL GET DAMAGED/LOST

I shipped my FX Royale to RoR for repair. I was supposed to be there last Monday, March 8th. It's still on the road somewhere.

Thankfully, I insured it for 2 grand.

Apparently, USPS is in no hurry - I thought for sure 2K in insurance would motivate them.

I would never ship anything over a few hundred dollars in value via usps. Eventually they will get back on track, but not until then. One time I preferred USPS over UPS , but not now. I doubt anything you could do would motivate them. I think they are just overwhelmed. I would not worry until about 6 weeks. We have stuffed that has taken 8 weeks to go 100 miles via usps. But it is getting better.
