Nailed a”Not starling” at 20 yards, but it wasn’t a killing shot. It fluttered to 40 yards away where I got it with the second shot. Tough bird, the .22 25 grain hit hard at 875 fps!!

I figured that after the fact. It was raining pretty goods the time I ran up to take the pic. I use my guns in ALL WEATHER. I do take very good care of them though and don’t shy away from disassembling and thoroughly maintaining them.That's not a starling.. more like a grackle...
