I am very lucky to have permission to pest for a dairy farmer here in west Michigan. This time of the year there is no shortage of targets. I can legally shoot pigeons, starlings, and sparrows. The starlings love the manure pit, so I hide out in the barn and as they come in and land on a line of wood posts, I pick them off. Well today two landed on the same post and I dropped them both with one shot from my Regal XL .22 with JSB 18.1's. Today's tally 11 Starlings and two sparrows with 12 pellets.
