Stages: 3 vs 4?

Looking into the cheapo China hand pumps and was wondering if any one had hands on experience with either or both?

What the difference between the two?

4 stage is easier to pump to high pressure but is slower than a 3 stage as in it takes more pumps with a 4 stage to get to the same pressure all else being equal.

Yes 3 stage pumping tends to be harder but pumps quicker. 4 stage easier pumping but takes more pumps.
