Thanks brother Smaug. I often have to wait on those shots and sometimes squirrels move off or out of range before I can get the shot I want. Good thing is, they'll show up again on another day, so its no big deal. I do regret passing a few monster deer up because I was too picky on shot placement. Quite often you don't get a second chance with them. I have tried to 'save' a few deer for my kids so that they can get a big one, and either they get it, we never see it again, or we hear someone on a neighboring property got it. Squirrels aren't quite as frustrating or intense to hunt.
Plink you are going to have to ship me some live squirrels if you don't quit this "showing off". I can't stand it any more! Although my wife will object to their removal by lead projectile she is not ALWAYS here! What honey.....no the "Wildcat" must have got them! lol
Thanks Tony.fryery and musketman101. I enjoy the pass through blast as well. It shows there's plenty of power even busting through bone. The only time I haven't had complete pass through was a top of the head shot facing me with the pellet passing down the backbone. It was quite a devestating shot though.
