Squirrel season opened in Louisiana!

I got the P 15 .25 caliber out and left for the woods this morning. I paddled my boat across the bayou and entered the woods silently instead of starting the motor. The squirrels were going crazy . Ended up with 6 squirrels.

Very cool, @Pruitt58 -- I moved to the TX/LA border on I-10 recently, and had taken up squirrel hunting not long before moving (had just started having some success and it was getting under my skin a bit.)

TX has very limited public lands, so I'm thinking about giving LA a look. Your method obviously is working great, looks like great fun and makes perfect sense for the area.
