Not only listen for the gnawing but look for the petals as they are eating the cone and spitting them out. I have located a lots like this. Heck it looks like it is snowing pine cone petals.

Nice shooting. Careful on the dog. Mine swallowed one last year and the vet bill was high. It wouldn't pass it. Swallowed whole but my dog is only 50 lbs

Thanks. I suppose you are talking about the pine cones. Yea dogs will chew about anything.
That's a big cat fish. I enjoy cat fishing. I fish with a reel, jug fish, & set out trot lines and bush hooks. Fun stuff especially at night.
