Squirrel meat prep

Someone mentioned having very strong tasting squirrel, for those new and willing to try squirrel, do remember to remove those 4 glands when skining the squirrel, you might find it makes a difference. They are located in the front arm pits and in the flanks by the rear legs.

If you find yourself squirrelish over eating squirrel, here's a recipe to try. Braise body parts, then place in crock pot with your favorite salsa. Cook untill meat falls off the bone, then use for taco meat or burrito.

Have also marinated squirrel in Italian dressing for a unique flavoring.
