Squirrel limit

Well we finally got some rain to make it easier to walk through the woods and no wind last night. Got the limit with my Huben K-1 .22 using Nelson 27.5gr slugs at 960fps. This is my go to hunting rig for years. It has taken alot of squirrels and birds.

If you zoom in the squirrel in middle still has a nut in its mouth.

Good hunt! We’re not open here yet. The first Saturday in October here in Louisiana is our opening day, limit 8.

Yeah, the most myself and my buddy shot combined one morning was 25 because it was for a church wild game feed and they love the squirrel. I usually never shoot more than 5 just because of that pain you mentioned. lol
What's funny is they want more for the next one! Going to have to do it on smaller amounts. lol.

Our limit is 12 in Georgia. I normally don’t kill that many because I’m the only one that eats them
