Squirrel , It's What For Dinner

Had to clean some meat out of freezer to make room for more.

Is that fried squirrel and some gravy? 😛........wait, those are biscuits I see too!

That looks like a very delicious meal you have there.........is that squirrel? I can't see too good, my glasses are in the other room. Or is that rabbit?

Dang....I really need my glasses. It says squirrel on your title. Man....I'm losing it. That really looks good 😊

One thing about eating squirrel. If you figure all the energy expended from hunting, skinning, vacuum packing, then preparing. You are negative on calories. That's why I threw some gravy & biscuits in there, I would fall away. LOL

Odd to me that squirrel is seen as anything OTHER than ..well.. food. When I first happened upon the airgun forums way back when I was amazed to see squirrel referred to as pests. I've lived my whole life (aside for time in the Army) in the country and they never were considered a pest here, they were just small game to be shot and eaten.

It's strange to me to see folks shoot them just to rid their property of them and NOT clean them and eat them.
