Squirrel hunting today

My gal wasn't well, I popped her upto Ripley Rifles for a look over, turned out to be a tight bore, this was all polished out, rifle pulled apart, all orings replaced, reg reset, power set. under warranty.

I took her upto the wood today, I think its safe to say she's back on form, 3 shots 3 dead greys

My scope is bushnell lrs 5-15x40 ao, I've tested quite a few scopes ontop and this one seems to suit the rifle best so far

That scope is killer clear with perfect 15x Mildot! It is clear like the SWFA SS 3-15x42. it is clearer than most Chinese under $650 scopes.

Better buy as many as you can from SWFA once those Japanese scopes are gone They are gone forever! Never going to find affordable JAPAN scopes for that price. 

BUSHNELL has discontinued their Affordable JAPAN TAC scopes. The only other alternative for good glass like that is the SWFA SS. Then the next level of Japanese greatness the Vortex Razor HD LHT with 20 yard focus for $999.

I have owned SWFA, although it was a good scope, the turrets are a bad design. I'm a bit of a glass geek lol, also had the elite 6500 but to my eyes it wasn't as clear as my LRS, maybe I had a bad example?

The LRS will focus down crystal clear to 10 yards on 15x!
