Well, went out this evening for a few hours to watch for some squirrels and do a little last minute scouting for open deer rifle season Saturday. It was a little breezy as usual around here and went down to the back of our pasture that follows a creek with a wheat field on the other side.

I found the biggest tree on the creek and set up about 50yds across from it with the RTI.

The gun is dead on at 30yds shooting the 25 RDs at about 50fpe. It was pretty quiet except for woodpeckers everywhere for about 45minutes. Then the telltale noise of 2 squirrels playing chase was coming from straight in front of me. We don't have a great deal of squirrels in this part of the country mostly agriculture fields. It was 2 reds running around the big tree. One stopped on a branch broadside long enough for me to get the scope settled on his head and I squeezed and he fell to the ground. The other stopped to look and I seized the chance to drop it with a head shot as well. So 2 for 2! I saw another but it didn't stay around long for a shot. Both squirrels were shot at about 40 yards. I still had some time left and then the deer started to come by so I couldn't retrieve the squirrels until after dark and my phone went dead so no pictures of the reds(I know I know it didn't happen with pictures-lol). However, it was a great evening to be out and I enjoyed my time. I just finished cleaning them and put them in the freezer for some fried squirrel and gravy later when I get some more.
