Squirrel bait feeder

I like to call this the last supper chair. The metal plate on the back of the chair is from a spatula and plexiglass on the seat for easy cleanup. The food dish is the bottom of a pellet can with holes drilled to let any moisture drain.

I have to show you my lure. That’s a 200 year old oak tree and my view, where I am sitting now in my living room. So if I see movement in the corner of my eye, I do a Houdini act and make a springer appear. I almost need camouflage (have to look like siding) to get a shot at them, cause they can see me. Also added.bonus, my main squeeze dislikes tree rats almost as much as me, women tend to have an eagle eye. Believe me I know! She’s spotted dozens.

Now this is where it gets spooky. This West shot out kitchen window, 27 yds. away. The fur balls occasionally spy on me, they sit 3/4 up that maple. They can see perfectly through my kitchen and living room. They do the same on the other side of the house in a spruce tree. They see you move and their gone. I know it sounds crazy, I swear it’s true.
I lost a few battles to them, but I definitely won a lot more. Sorry to ramble, that’s what squirrels do to me. They’re the reason I probably have a dozen springers. After several decades of battle it seems normal. Good luck Crow
