I'm in the familiarization phase of a .25 Bobcat mk2, had it about a month or so typical Bobcat performance love the gun, however from the beginning it had a peculiar squeaking sound when handled, it is the first synthetic stock I ever owned ( air gun anyway ) and I knew the hammers rattled didn't give it much thought, on careful inspection noticed the reg pressure gauge is not straight with the centerline of rifle, the butpad end of the gauge is about 1/16" towards cocking lever side, and the front side is rubbing the stock causing the squeak, had the stock off for inspection in the beginning, was easy to remove, before I remove stock again and attempt fix, need advice, what kind of seals are used and can it be loosened and re-tightened to seal reliably with existing seals, or will it need new seals? Hate to send it off for such a simple thing, I need wise counsel, thanks in advance. Happy 4th everyone!
