Springfield Armory M1A Carbine!

I just got my SA M1A Carbine in yesterday after ordering it early Friday morning. I couldn't sleep, as I'd been pondering buying the 1911 mil-spec replica of the Colt 1911. BB repeater with all-metal frame and Co2 blow-back. But the M1A carbine also being on sale, I got it instead. 5.7lbs and just under a yard long @ 35.8". Takes one 12g Co2 capsule and has a 15-shot mag that feels like it weighs a pound of the total weight!? It also has the blow-back function on the bolt, which is used to initially cock the rifle! I also ordered an M1 sling and oiler for it that's due in next Friday. I'll do a video then. I had to have it, as my father carried one in the Philippines as a Seabee in WWII. My FIL carried one chasing Rommel's Afrika Korp across North Africa into Sicily as a navy man too. So it has some provinance in my family!

Let's get the name correct, it is a M1 Carbine and not an M1A!

M1 " A" is the civilian/commercial designation for the version we can buy. Like the SA M1A/M14 I also have. .22cal underlever. The " A" is again the commercial/civilian version designation. Anyway, the delivery has now moved up to tomorrow on the sling and oiler. If it gets here in the morning, I'll do the video then. I have Crosman, Daisy & Hornady BB's to try in it. 15-round clip in the front of the mag. So that'll make it a test of 15 each. The mag itself seems to take up a pound of the total weight!? I can't wait to try the M1 in rapid fire mode!
