springer scope

What is the best springer scope? What are others using that you have a lot of shots on that is your absolute trusted, most rock solid springer scope. Springers are notorious for destroying scopes. It would be interesting to put an accelerometer on one and see just how many G's are developed in the recoil and the reverse. Right now I have a Viper Diamondback on my FWB.

Kit honestly from talking to a LOT OF guys about this ...I'm convinced the Leupold efr in 3-9 is about as good as it gets on a FWB 300 springer unless you need more power ....My absolutely favorite scope less than 600$ is the SWFA SS with milquad in 10X but it's a fairly long , and heavy but it's almost indestructible and SWFA warrants all their fixed power scopes for springers

I've had good luck with the UTG SWAT scopes (3-12x44 Compact being my favorite). I have three of them, and all have ridden on magnum springers and "scope killers" for extended periods, and I've only had to send one back for warranty (my one "full size" scope, neither compact has ever given me a lick of trouble). They don't cost a ton of money, and UTG is pretty good about warranty service. I also have a Center Point 4-16 scope that has ridden on a few of my more powerful guns, with no failure. That scope currently rides on my Benji Trail all weather NP, and was about 70 bucks at WalMart.

I've had good luck on both UTG and Hawke scopes. The UTG is mounted on a RWS Diana 34 in .22 and the Hawke on a HW95 in .22. I've not had a single problem with either and I've shot thousand's of pellets using them. For backyard target practice and light hunting (squirrel and rabbit) these scopes are perfect in that they are not overly expensive and get the job done.

+1 on the SWFA. This is my favorite as well. A very nice reticle. Mine has stood up well to extensive use on spring guns.
