Just read on another forum that OC Bolding (aka Whitefang) passed away unexpectedly on June 27th.

Sorry to hear that. I never met him even though he wasn't far from me but he seemed to have contributed much to various forums over the years. Condolences to the family.

Whitefang was a great guy. I bought a beautiful FWB 300s from him and talked to him about two hours on the phone about air gun repair and modifications. He was a super nice and knowledgeable air gun enthusiast. He will be missed. MM

Used to have a Diana 52 in .25 that had FANG stamped on it. One of many contributions OC made to the sport. He stood his ground til the end. He will be sorely missed by many.

My 54 is the last rifle he worked on. And I'm wrong/selfish for saying this but "damn you OC...I never met you but I miss you and our talks. I sent your old lady a card and had a brief conversation with her. A good woman you have. Well brother thank you for an awesome rebuild and you are missed. See you on the other side brother.
