spotting scope

Seeing .22 holes in the black at 100 yards requires a good scope. If shooting highly visible shootnsee targets could get by with lesser scope. Good optics are never cheap. Whats your budget. I use spotting scopes frequently for wildlife observation and target shooting at long ranges. My personal favorite is the Kowa TSN883 with Prominar Eyepiece. I was still watching wolves in Lamar Valley when the swarovski guys were packing up due to failing light late in the afternoon. Theyre is only one scope that can outdo the tsn883 at the moment and that is an atx swaro with the huge objective. Hasnt been out long and twice as much as my tsn883. A more budget minded excellent optic would be a meopta or vortex. If still out of budget then get something from a brick and mortar store but set up a test target outside to see if the optical quality is up to your standards. Good spotting scopes arent cheap.
