Either Hawke contracted Sports match UK to make these adjustable rings for them or perhaps they might have accidentally sent some genuine Sports match rings to China to work their magic you know what they do best that's why they can sell half price compared to the originals.

If any one has a set of these cheaper Hawke adjustable spin offs please post whether it says made in UK or made in China on the package. Born in UK doesn't count.

Definitely a much cheaper alternative compared to the other brands of adjustable rings.

Would like to know a comparison review result. I buy Chinese scope mounts for 3 or 4 dollars a piece they work fine most of the time but quality is obviously not as good. However I have gotten Chinese scopes that were far superior to American scopes in the same price range. I wait for further information on things like this. Great post can't wait to see the results.

I have bought a few knockoff rings like west hunter and hawke , I had some unable to zero like shooting to left or right , and I tried turning them mismatching base with upper part and decided NO they not for me , I dont run many affordable optics and thinking of any adjustable ring , If it isnt designed properly it can ruin your scope I have seen this where you cant the rings and it like puts pressure on only part of the tube and bends it causing zoom to not turn freely or worse ,

PS Id like say The Hawke rings were not ones which distorted scope tubes just to clarify I think hawke is a good company for rings and optics for budget mined optics/rings

also I have had them interference qadjustable rings move when bumped and lose zero , I prfer a positive adjustment like offset holes or pins ,

You get what you pay for.

Amen, I have learned that the hard way over many, many years!!!

I would beg to differ.

At least with SOME of the products coming out of the country that corona came out of.... (OK, let's keep politics out of this.)

🔸EVIDENCE:  Just took a 64y (58m) shot on a pigeon, with an Artemis PP700 — DRT.

On the Discovery VT-3 3-12x44 I dialed 3.7mil for the shot. Like most of the other thousands of shots in the past 2 years that his scope/gun has been putting the hurt on the ferals.

🔸LUSTING: Now, I openly admit I have been lusting for an Ataman AP16 to replace the Artemis pistol. And a US Optics 3-12x44 FFP to replace the Discovery scope.

🔸THE NUMBERS: However, the Ataman/US Optics package would come to me for a cool $1500+. Comparing that to the Artemis/Discovery package at $500.... — I'm pretty sure the Ataman/US Optics package isn't THREE TIMES better than the Artemis/Discovery package (to which I added the price of a Huma reg.).

🔸CONFESSION: Hey, it's your money — so you don't need to justify spending 3 times as much — not to me at least. 😊 And I'm sure you'll enjoy it. 👍🏼

I confess, though, that I tend to search out slogans like "You get what you pay for" — to justify my airgun spending....

🔸SLOGAN: IMO, the slogan that I believe is truer than the above mentioned is: "Buy once, cry once."

(Or is that just another justification to convince myself [and my wife] that I need to buy a Dream-Tact Compact Bottle....? 🤔)

Matthias 😊
