I'm a proud owner of a .25 Vulcan. I have been shooting hole through hole accuracy ever since I noticed some chit chat on the forums about getting an updated hammer and spring for free if you send Pigrov Evgeny your serial number of your Vulcan and many some pictures. So I did and he was quick to respond so now I'm just waiting for it to arrive. So I've been talking back and forth with Evgeny through email correspondence and asked how much would a new stock and moderator would cost? And his answer.........drum role please..... He said that I should wait till May because he has a $60 black plastic stock coming out no word on if it will have a rubberized soft touch finish like the "Wildcat" or what finish it will have and a moderator that will work on all Vulcans which would be cool because I have a gen 2 and the gen 3 has a threaded moderator that AGT currently only sells a moderator for that threads onto the current moderator unlike gen 1 and gen2 where you have to have an adapter that threads onto the barrel and then you screw on a moderator like the on that TGAG sells. And the price for an updated moderator with extension is $110 per Evgeny. So there you have it new treats from our good pals at AGT. Also the Vulcan Tactic is of the same platform and currently has the threaded moderator just look at the pictures on the website and you can see the difference those are both the gen 3 Vulcans also their pressure gauge looks a tad different Here is my email correspondence with Evgeny from AGT. Hi Thomas,No problems. I am ready to send you a new hammer.
New moderator + additional moderator - cost $ 110
New stock - $ 200 (unfortunately the most expensive item in the rifle)
But!
At the end of May will be the plastic stock and the price will be about $ 60. There is an adjustable butt plate and the rail for bipod.I recommend to wait.Best rergards,Evgeny ..........................................Sent from my Nokia 3310 13.03.2016, 08:45, "Thomas Allen" <[email protected]>:

"nomobux" Got my new hammer, spring and screws yesterday. Can you say service and support !!!

Hi Nombobux,
do you know what the difference is between the new and the old spring? Is one stronger than the other or something? Also what's the difference in the newer screws you received? Im just wondering what the differences are Compared to my own Vulcan. Thanks.

Not really sure on the spring. Maybe just a fresh start type of deal. I believe the screws are just to cover you in case of trouble in removing the old. He sent 22 pieces in total I think. Count the turns removing the old spring, so that you can get back in the ballpark. Put your wrench in the screws and give them a wack before turning to break free. You should be covered with everything he sends you.

Thanks I appreciate the info. I already learned the hard way to remove the screws I stripped like seven of them. So I just used a dremmel to get those out and replaced them with Phillip heads. Also have you chronographed your gun? If so, did you do a before and after? And if you did did you notice better efficiency? Any one that got a new spring could answer this question. Thanks again nomobux.

I haven't installed it yet. The new hammer has a shoulder machined to keep the spring more centered to reduce any drag and keep ES more consistant if you did indeed have a problem. Some did and apparently some haven't seen it ................. yet. Hope this helps you a bit.
