Hi, I've got a Wildcat Compact for sale. It's new in box and never fired but with my LCS SK-19 on the way I don't think I'll have much time to shoot this one. It's a beauty and handles like a dream.

Sorry for the repeat question, but just confirming that the liner is the fully rifled "X" liner, not the regular Smooth Twist that is only partially rifled. Correct? I'm not certain, but I think they put both in this gun with those markings. Thanks.

I’ve never shot it or had it apart. How can I determine this? If I remove the barrel, is it obvious? Would FX know based on the serial?

Im happy to do the legwork, I’m just not exactly sure how.

 Yes the liner comes out of the barrel shroud, and on the "X" version you can see the rifling is all the way down the barrel (It's pressed from the outside, so it shows up easily). On the regular Smooth Twist the rifling will only be on last 5" or so of the barrel.
