“Speed shooting” with break barrels at 50 meters

Ahh... I’m back to this forum. It’s been a while and I have a question.

For some odd reason, I am practicing hitting a quick “snap shot” with my Hatsan 1000S striker (which up to now has worked flawlessly without cleaning or anything, which is about 4 months or more) at a letter (~8.5x11”) sized target at ~50 meters freestanding (or offhanding, whatever you want to call it) with the scope that came with the gun that somehow, somehow is still working without problems. I’m not focused on groupings here, but on hitting the target quickly. I don’t even see the target that well at all at 5x zoom. So, I can hit it consistently at 4 sec (butstock at chest with muzzle pointed up and safety on) hit the target and my best time is 3.5 sec (stop watch stops when the pellet reaches the wood) Don’t know if that’s good or bad, curious to see if anyone of you guys (the forums people) did what I was doing and your results.

Thanks,

Antoni
