Speed KYL

Trying the Tactacam 5.0 with FTS. It looked really good on my phone but YouTube looks blurry and not that great. Recorded in 1920x1280 full HD at 120 FPS. Any recommendations for uploading to YouTube for better quality?

The KYL steel targets are for .22 LR bought from @sturkis in AZ (he makes them custom). Super high quality heavy duty steel. The small one is meant for 25 yards and larger one for 75 yards. This is the way it was done for Precision Rifle at RMAC. The large one was also used in the Speed Competition at 50 yards but the one at RMAC only had 7 not 8. The small 3/4 inch one wasn’t used at RMAC.

What software did you use to edit? What you mentioned is the resolution you filmed in, but you need to make sure you’re exporting in the highest resolution you can.

Youtube can take 5 min or sometimes hours to fully render high resolution videos. Upload as unlisted and let it sit for a bit until you see the HD flag.

I’ve been talking with Tactacam... they are sending a bunch of stuff to play with, and more importantly... gonna be a fun partner with Fan footage 👍

make sure when you export, to slide both all the way to the right (4K and whatever the max speed is). YouTube should recognize the rest. Looking at the video though... it appears all is good now, and it was a rendering delay.

Try filming in 240fps too for slow motion. It brings it down to 720p, but it's still pretty good. The lens is pretty small however, so if it's a low light situation, it will be pretty dark. For some reason it defaults to zooming within the digital zoom of the camera for some of the modes too... make sure to bring those all back to base magnification using the Tactacam app. Then save your 3 most used ones. You can access them directly from the camera from then on out.
